I have traveled extensively and taken about 15 tours on this trip and have to rate this one as a mixed bag there has to be something better. To be fair, the boat trip to catch crabs and stop on the island with the lunch was OK not good or great. People on the boat were informative and helpful. However, the Bus driver for the Gold Coast tour was not a tour guide. She drove the bus and did little more. We are driving down the Gold Coast with very little commentary I had no idea where we were going or any explanation of the area. An example is we drove for an hour and got to the Gold Coast and the first thing she said is: “There is a shipping center you can shop there if you like.” “This is the tallest building in Australia and you can go to the top if you like.” She brought us to Burleigh Heads – Her comments were “There is a nice National Park her formed by a volcano who’s lava flowed into the sea, Shopping on this street and there are always a lot of people standing around that juice shop” She then said she would drop us off and come meet us in an hour. If we asked a question she basically could not give us an answer. No history of the area and it was not until I looked up information after the trip I found out that it is a surfing Paradise, or that there is a walking trail from where we were to the Park with wonderful vistas. Our driver could be an exception but I would not recommend this tour company because of her.

One day trip in a hired car driven by an Uber driver. You can go as one person if you want the whole trip by yourself or a maximum of three people. Cost is the same either way 300.00 for the day. The guide took us where he thought some of the best sights were and let us kind of tell him what we wanted and didn't want to do. Not a real rigid time schedule at all.

I completed this Trip in November 2018 and this was good because I got picked up from my Hotel in Brisbane and taken to and from the Gold Coast. I was able to spend an hour on the famous Surfers Paradise Beach and I had enough time to have a look around. I went up the tallest building (Q1) with the view point of the Gold Coast and I would highly recommend doing this while you are there. The river cruise was good apart from the food, also there was no alcohol served on board. The food consisted of a crab, prawns and yabees. If you do not like these then there is no other alternative for you. I really enjoyed the fishing part of the cruise and being able to see the luxurious homes and hotels along the waters edge. Overall I would recommend this for those who love seafood and fishing and for those who would like a break from the city in Brisbane to see a bit more of Australia.

What a wonderful trip out of Brisbane. The Gold Coast is beautiful. We had time to stroll the beaches and had a wonderful boat cruise down a canal to view the homes and the city from the water.

Everything was good including all the stops in Gold coast, canal cruise etc. Rain forest trip kind of rained out.It was a good day all the way around.

The tour was very enjoyable . The people who run the canal cruise were very informative and it was a very pleasant cruise. The rain forest was very nice to see and our tour driver Dave was amazing . He came with us through the rainforest and explained everything to us . He is a keeper. Great day out

The driver was a little unorganized. I could not hear the driver and he talked constantly. We had to drop 2 sets of other people at different places. The discription on Viator said morning tea. Lunch on own, but no tea and lunch on boat left a lot to be desired. I enjoyed the rainforest walk and the natural bridge was very nice.
