The park supports a variety of important wildlife species that have adapted to live in this dry, arid environment. This route is not inhabited, access is by four wheel drive vehicle only and there are no services or facilities. Camping is only permitted in clear areas within 100 metres of the Anne Beadell Highway, and not within five kilometres of Tallaringa Well. Tallaringa Conservation Park is located 615 kilometres north west of Port Augusta. Access is via Stuart Highway, Coober Pedy or Mabel Creek Station. Access may be restricted due to local road conditions. Travel is not recommended from November to March inclusive. A Desert Parks Pass or park entry pass is required to enter the park.
